Natalie Stepien-Bernabe, Ph.D. is a Human Factors Managing Scientist at Sage Research + Design. Natalie earned her B.A. with honors in Psychology from the University of Chicago and her Ph.D. in Vision Science from the University of California, Berkeley. At Sage Research + Design, Natalie helps companies tackle challenging usability and safety questions via rigorous methodology informed by her background in psychology, user experience, and human factors. Additionally, she guides companies through the human factors component of their FDA and EU MDR submission processes at various stages of the product development lifecycle.
