Teresita Pileggi (she/her) is a Principal Human Factors Engineer at Design Science where she collaborates with client's cross-functional engineering and design teams to prioritize goals for human factors evaluations, generate concept directions, analyze and visualize data, and accomplish usability goals. She forged her path into human factors in healthcare settings after her integrated studies in mechanical engineering and sociology and later graduate studies in innovation and management, which helped her to explore the crossroads of people and design. Teresita has held human factors engineering roles previously at Farm, a Flex Company and NxStage Medical Inc. In her current and past roles, she has worked to implement user-centered design methods and optimize user interface designs by integrating usability and applying ergonomic principles.
