Elizabeth White Baker, PhD, is an Professor of Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She completed a fellowship at MIT in Systems Design and Management, focusing on the safety of medical systems and processes. Her research includes the adoption and diffusion of technology, cybersecurity, ethics, and safety engineering in organizations, focusing on how civilian and government organizations can be better designed for worker and patient/consumer safety.
