Sarah Carmack, BSN, RN, CIC is a Senior Infection Preventionist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, certified by the Board of Infection Control and Prevention since 2013. With over a decade of experience in infection prevention, Sarah brings expertise in CLABSI prevention and Ambulatory CLABSI program development. Sarah has been a nurse since 2004 and prior to infection prevention, had hands-on nursing experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. A dedicated leader and advocate, Sarah has served as a local APIC chapter President and continues to contribute as the chapter webmaster.
