Stephan Wegner, PhD, is currently heading the Human Factors and User Experience group at Ypsomed Delivery System. In this role, he oversees the activities in the user-centered design development from innovation to market approval of reliable and user-friendly injection systems for self-medication. Before, he was Senior Human Factors Manager at Ypsomed Delivery Systems and Senior User Experience Engineer at Zühlke. Stephan holds a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He has written and published numerous peer-reviewed papers on usability testing.
