Piet is a European Board-certified gynecologist whose work has been published extensively on various surgery topics and who has lectured internationally throughout his career on the fields of urogynecology, surgery, and medical device innovation. Piet earned his M.D. from the University of Leuven, and his Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from the University of Amsterdam.
