Katrina Smith

Biography
Katrina Smith is a Program Manager and Staff Human Factors Engineer at Farm with over 10 years of experience leading research teams. Her background in experimental and cognitive psychology provides her with the foundational knowledge necessary to understand and evaluate user behavior and expectations. Katrina is knowledgeable on a wide variety of research methodologies (e.g., experimental design, interviewing, surveys, and field observation) and her expertise in both qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis ensures that all human factors research is conducted according to best practice in user-centered research. Prior to joining Farm, Katrina taught in higher education for 20 years and was the Director of International Studies at Reinhardt University. She earned her PhD in Psychology from Georgia State University, specializing in the role of behavior genetics in early language development in children with genetic disorders and has been certified in User Experience by the Nielsen Norman Group.
