Shelby is a Senior Staff Human Factors Engineer at Stryker. She specializes in applying human factors theory to real-world challenges, with a focus on human-automation interaction and trust. She leverages both qualitative and quantitative methods to assess human performance in complex systems, including AR/VR/XR devices, robotics, and decision support tools, across industries such as healthcare, military, and home support. Shelby holds a BS in Psychology from Georgia Tech and an MS and PhD in Human Factors Psychology with a certificate in Modeling and Simulation Engineering from Old Dominion University.
