Jessica Arora is a PhD student at the University of Virginia, where she is studying Systems Engineering under the advisement of Dr. Rupa Valdez. Her graduate research is in the human factors engineering domain. Her work focuses on improving the quality and accessibility of technology for people with disabilities.

Jessica received her BS and MS in Industrial Engineering and BA in Statistics at SUNY University of Buffalo in 2019 and 2020. Prior to starting at the University of Virginia, Jessica worked as a human factors engineer in the medical device industry.
