Suruchi Batra is a Senior Human Factors Specialist with Emergo by UL’s Human Factors Research & Design (HFR&D) team. She has been with the team since January 2021. She has experience delivering HFE services to the medical device, pharmaceutical, and laboratory equipment industries. Suruchi specializes in complex systems, including RASDs, dialysis machines, and endoscopes. She supports research activities such as early-stage user research and HF validation testing, including the full suite of HF documentation. Furthermore, she is very involved with reporting efforts, seeking to complete thorough root cause analyses, and helps clients develop key HFE documents for their design history files. She holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
