Tobias Theiler is the Head of the Science and Evidence Department at Ypsomed, responsible for the company’s Human Factors, Medical Affairs, and Patient-Centric Science activities.

Prior to his current role, he held various positions within R&D Engineering and medical research centers. He has been with Ypsomed since 2022 and has previously worked at University Hospital Aachen, Biotronik (Berlin), and Abbott (Zürich).

Tobias holds a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Ruhr University of Bochum, as well as a Doctorate in Medical Sciences (Dr. rer. medic.) from RWTH Aachen. He has written and published several peer-reviewed papers and patents on medical devices and occupational medicine.
