Jiaying Shen obtained her Ph.D in Industrial and System Engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison and she has 20year experience in pharmaceutical and medical device industry. She is currently an executive director at MSD, leading the device system and human factors function. Her team is responsible for Design Control, Risk Management and human factors activities for the full life cycle of drug delivery devices. Prior to join Merck, she worked at Medtronic Neuromodulation R&D and Honeywell automation and control laboratory.
