MinJae Kim

Biography
MinJae Kim is a seasoned UX/HF researcher specializing in medical device usability and digital health. In his role at the Hankook Research Innovation Center, MinJae was a founding member of the Medical Device Usability Center and now leads its operations. With a background in Political Studies (Political Psychology) from Sogang University, MinJae brings an interdisciplinary perspective to human factors and usability research. He has participated in regulatory seminars in both Korea and Japan, contributing to discussions on usability standards in medical devices. Building on software and app UX research experience, MinJae has developed expertise in SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) and DTx (Digital Therapeutics). Currently, he conducts usability tests for companies in Korea and Japan and is particularly focused on advancing the dissemination of usability standards across East Asian countries, where regulatory frameworks are becoming increasingly well-established.
