Matt is a Senior Human Factors Engineer at Gilead Sciences. Prior to joining Gilead, Matt has worked at AstraZeneca, TroveHealth, Masimo, MedHF, and Genentech/Roche. Matt has over a decade of experience in human factors and UX, managing the strategic direction of combination products, medical devices, digital health apps, and consumer wearables. He has conducted human factors work end-to-end from early concept evaluations all the way through design validation. Matt has deep expertise in integrating a robust risk management process into every phase of human factors engineering.
Matt has a BS in BioEngineering from University of California, Berkeley.
