Michelle Dowell
Biography
Michelle Dowell is a Senior Usability Architect within Experience Design at GE HealthCare. In this role, she applies Human Factors principles and methods to support the design of medical device user interfaces for imaging systems. Michelle has over 16 years of experience including mechanical design, systems engineering, human factors engineering, and risk management. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, as well as a certificate in Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics from The Pennsylvania State University. Michelle's is also a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Human Factors Professional from the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics, Inc. (BCPE)
