Biography
I’ve always loved the space between users, technology, and the business; bridging these three to make great things happen is where I do my best work. Over the years, this has taken different forms – early (EARLY!) days of e-commerce and websites, internal-facing systems and processes, sophisticated medical devices – but at the core, it’s always been about working with tech and business to get it right for the user.
As I spent more time around medical devices in recent years, I have found where I am supposed to be. My best work has moved squarely into the human factors engineering (HFE) space where I get to bridge patients and clinicians, smart engineers, and strategic business minds to bring to market medical devices that are safe, effective, and enjoyable to use. Throw in solid project management skills and a deeply analytical mind set, and I can move us through the product development process, while having a great time along the way.
