Biography
Heather Janes of South Dakota, brings over 25 years of experience in the aging and healthcare sectors. Heather is a professional care manager who can be relied upon to offer her clients and their loved ones compassionate, person-centered care that prioritizes the unique needs and goals of each individual. Heather has dedicated her career to helping older adults and their caregivers navigate life’s challenges with dignity and confidence.
A Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP), Heather is an active advocate for brain health, serving as a board member for the Alzheimer’s Association South Dakota Chapter and contributing to the strategic efforts of the South Dakota Healthy Brain Coalition. Her approach integrates the 8 dimensions of wellness, addressing the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being to provide truly comprehensive care.
Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys 17 years of marriage with her husband, Joshua, and finds deep joy in raising their two children, ages 9 and 13. Together, they cherish the pleasures of family time, traveling, sports, and South Dakota’s beautiful summers.
Heather’s mission is to ensure that no one navigates the complexities of aging and care alone. With a servant’s heart, years of expertise, and a deeply personal commitment to those she serves, she looks forward to providing the guidance and support you need for a fulfilling and confident journey.
