Gavin graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Product Design. Prior to joining PDD, he spent five years working with a large multinational medical device manufacturer in Ireland. During this time, he worked on a variety of coronary and structural heart devices in a technical design engineering capacity, later specialising in human factors and usability engineering. With experience in clinical trial support and usability evaluations on multiple products throughout all stages of the design process, Gavin utilises his technical knowledge and understanding of human behaviour and medical device regulations to evaluate and improve on device safety and usability.
