Laura Parra is currently a Human Factors Engineer at Veranex where she has worked for for two years. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering. In her time at Veranex, she has had the opportunity to shadow a validation study for hearing aids with an app component and run a heuristic evaluation and formative study for a heart monitoring device with an app component. As a Human Factors Engineer she advocates for accessible product designs.
