Jennifer Soosaar is the Director of Human Factors at Core Human Factors, A Rimkus Company. Core supports human factors research from concept through validation, including understanding users and their use environments, developing use-related risk analyses, and designing study protocols to gather safety and usability data. Jennifer manages the research team at Core. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. from Yale University in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a focus in Immunology, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia in Biology. She is a member of HFES and is on the AAMI HFE committee, IEC Medical Devices Usability Committee for the US National Committee, and the Expert Committee on HF, Device Operability, and User Interface Design to Support Generic Drug-Device Combination Product Development.
