Mebrure Itir is a senior Civil and Transportation Engineer with extensive experience in feasibility studies, transport demand modeling, and infrastructure planning. She has contributed to national-scale prjects at the Turkish State Railways and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, specializing in passenger and freight forecasting using advances tools such as PTV Visum, TrasCAD, and Python-based analytical methods.
Her academic work focuses on machine learning and explainable AI for transportation systems, and she is currently completing her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Gazi University. She has authored studies on railway passenger demand forecasting and aviation psychology, including research presented in international symposiums.
