Lauren Gerchow, PhD, RN, is a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University School of Nursing, where her work focuses on reducing health disparities through informatics. She completed her PhD at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, followed by postdoctoral training (2024–2025) at NYU Rory Meyers investigating nursing care for patients with limited English proficiency. Her research program centers on adolescent sexual and reproductive health, person-centered care, and equitable access to health services and technologies. Clinically, she has served English- and Spanish-speaking families as a home visitor with the Nurse-Family Partnership, supporting maternal and child health during pregnancy and early parenting.
