Biography
Jeff Beno, BS
Jeff Beno is a Sr. Healthcare Systems Engineer, focused on Human Factors, in the Office of Performance Improvement in the Chief Quality Office. Jeff has 28 years of varied experience, across many different industries. Prior to joining MD Anderson in April 2016, he worked as a Human Factors Design Engineer on the ISS program (NASA-11yrs), HF Consultant in Energy (Chevron-1yr) and Systems/Mechanical Engineer in Satellite Communication/Aerospace (Defense Department-7yrs).
Jeff has spent the past 9 years at MDA working on safety analysis, process improvement and project management. Projects have included human factors cause analysis of safety events, Human Factors FMEA of processes (blood administration, blood draws), implementing new processes (Massive Transfusion Protocol, current Safety Reporting System), and facilitating institutional projects (Safety365 Operational Priority). He is currently facilitating the Falls Intervention program, an Institutional Priority Focus Area for FY22-26.
Jeff received a BS in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin.
