Chelsea Wanta is the Director, Human Factors Engineering in Experience Design at GE HealthCare. In this role, she leads a global team of Human Factors Engineers that apply HFE principles and methods to support the design of medical device user interfaces across Imaging and Digital product families. Chelsea has extensive experience in leading and implementing global processes for HFE/Usability and User-Centered Design. She has also participated on the AAMI and IEC Human Factors committees, representing GE HealthCare for many years. Chelsea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
