Biography
Guozhen Liang is a Ph.D. student in Industrial & Systems Engineering at University at Buffalo, supervised by Dr. Jing Yang. His research lies in the intersection of human factors and data science, aiming to leverage multimodal physiological data to model cognitive workload dynamics and support adaptive systems. He is broadly interested in applying data-driven methods to improve human performance, safety, and decision-making in complex domains. Prior to his Ph.D. studies, he received his M.S. degree at Technical University of Berlin. He has participated in interdisciplinary projects spanning machine learning, human factors, and healthcare.
