Biography
Kathren Pavlov is a first-year medical student at Florida State University whose research centers on patient experience and usability in both hospital and at-home care environments. She has served as lead author on multiple studies examining patient interactions with medical devices, including at-home hemodialysis systems. Her work applies UX heuristics and human factors principles to improve device usability, reduce patient burden, and enhance overall safety in self-managed and clinical care settings.
