Presenter

Dr. Venkitachalam is a pediatric cardiac intensivist and pediatric cardiologist from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Her interests focus on improving patient safety, particularly hazards in the cardiac ICU. She currently focuses on ECMO related hazards and strategies to mitigate risks associated with them. She is also interested in medical education and enhancing the knowledge surrounding patient safety in the cardiac ICU.
