Biography
I am a researcher in the Integrative Aerospace and Exercise Physiology Lab, where my work focuses on combining human factors and physiology. My background in exercise science and human performance has shaped my interest in understanding not only the physiological effects of interventions such as inspiratory muscle training (IMT) and nitrate supplementation, but also how usability and design influence their effectiveness. In my research, I strive to evaluate both outcomes and user experience, with the goal of improving accessibility and engagement. By integrating human factors principles with applied physiology, I aim to optimize training tools and medical devices so they can benefit athletes, clinical populations, and the general public alike.
