Imogen graduated from Loughborough University with a first-class degree in Industrial Design and Technology (BA). As part of her degree Imogen undertook a placement year working as a human factors intern. During this year she found a passion for speaking with patients and making sure their voices were heard during the medical device development process. This ultimately led Imogen to pursue a career in HF. Before joining PDD, Imogen worked in a human factors consultancy in Bristol as a human factors engineer where she gained valuable experience working on formative and summative usability evaluations, as well as a variety of human factors documentation for a range of medical devices.
