Jennifer Fukagawa-Mahan is a Senior HF Consultant at Sage Research + Design. She holds a B.S. with Distinction in Biological Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester, where her graduate studies focused on medical device innovation. She has applied this foundation across a broad range of roles in the medical device industry, spanning the fields of Human Factors, Regulatory Affairs, Systems Engineering, and Quality Engineering. Her experience across multiple domains enables her to approach human-centered design from a uniquely holistic perspective. With a strong command of design controls and quality management systems, Jennifer is a trusted partner for clients navigating complex product development and regulatory submissions.
