Eleanore Scheer is a PhD candidate and National Science Foundation Research Fellow at the University of Virginia, where she is studying Systems Engineering (School of Engineering and Applied Sciences) under the advisement of Dr. Rupa Valdez. Eleanore received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2021. Her graduate research focuses on the intersection of human factors engineering and health informatics with an interest in improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare for health disparity populations, including people with disabilities and second-language English speakers.
