Dan Thoren is a Staff Human Factors Engineer at Stryker. In 2015 he completed his B.S./M.S. in Plastics Engineering with a focus on Medical Device Design from University of Massachusetts Lowell, and in 2022 completed his Graduate Certificate in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Pennsylvania State University. He started his career within Product Development, having experience from early-stage concept design all the way through leading V&V activities. In 2021 he pivoted his career to Human Factors Engineering and has since acted as the Human Factors Subject Matter Expert on multiple New Product Development projects within the clinical spaces of GI-Endoscopy, Urology, and OBGYN, and Orthopedics.
