Lane McCurrach
Biography
Lane McCurrach, MHL, BSN, RN, CPN, CNML is a Quality Specialist Program Manager in the Office of Quality and Patient Safety at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Lane is a nurse with over 29 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She obtained a diploma in nursing in 1996, BSN with honors in 2010, Master of Healthcare Leadership with four excellence awards in 2023 and holds certifications in pediatric nursing (CPN) and nurse leadership (CNML). Her clinical background is in adult cardiovascular critical care and pediatric-oncology critical care, with leadership experience in nursing, clinical operations, and patient safety. She received the St. Jude 5100 Club award for work with the informatics department to identify a failure in the electronic health record.
Lane has successfully led initiatives including development of new roles for bed coordination, house supervisors, and a nursing float team, and served as nursing clinical expert for the start-up of a cardiovascular services program. She is currently serving St. Jude as a program manager in quality and patient safety and contributes to multiple projects and committees. Her passion is partnering with people and teams to envision and embrace opportunities for improvement in patient safety.
