Regan Via started his career in medical device product development as a device engineer overseeing design verification testing for a variety of clients and devices. It was ultimately his desire to connect and engage with users that led him to the world of human factors. He transitioned into HF consulting where he primarily supported HF validation and formative testing, exposing him to range of different products, users, and use flows. He is now Principal Human Factors Engineer at Genentech, Inc. where he's supported a broad range of products from pen injectors and nebulizers, to emergency reconstitution systems and ocular implants. Regan holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. He lives in Salt Lake City, UT where he spends most of his free time enjoying the outdoors
